I love this. Especially as a reminder that a little daily input goes a long way. Iβm currently once again binging my book club book before we meet in two days. A part of me was wondering if I should change that, but I read so much more in the last three months since I joined that I think itβs worthwhile regardless. I also read it a ton during my sabbatical too. Lots of self-development books. Iβm not gonna lie, I think it changed me haha
Hey Bahv! I love this. I have an ad-hoc reading plan at the moment, where I'm trying to go to bed 30 minutes earlier to read (though on two out of three nights, I've ended up journaling more). It's still a work in progress, though; you inspire me! If I read a book in a month, that'd be such a success for me.
Also I bined Funny Story in October and lost sleep for 3 nights while reading it. I grew up going to northern Michigan all the time so it resonated a lot. The fastest I recall reading a book ever. I still love "People We Meet on Vacation" better. I've always been a bit embarrassed by enjoying Emily Henry, but I love how much she uses metaphor :)
1 month a month is great - and I think 30m reading most nights should get your there (I'm always a fan of my 80/20 rule there and aim for 80% success rate cz it's never going to be every day and then you feel bad when you don't hit it)
Funny Story was so good! It's so nice when you get sucked into a book, ha. I've not done People We Meet On Vacation, so I shall add that to my list - thanks!
And also, there's nothing embarrassing about reading Emily Henry books - she's one of my faves π
This is great, Bhav! Inspired me to put together a reading plan - my reading's been so sporadic and inconsistent so reading this was great motivation. Thank you!
Love me a long bookish post! Iβm all about that these days. Nice one Bhav!
Thanks Cams! Hope youβre good π

Thanks Michelle! Yeah, it's crazy how much consistency actually works haha.
Sometimes it's nice to do a binge read - spreading it out too long can also make it boring. And book clubs are so good for keeping you accountable!
What are you reading?? π§

Oooh yay π I know exactly what you mean π Hoping the plan helps π€
Literally never met anyone with a reading plan before. This was so cool to learn about. Thanks for sharing it!
Went full nerd mode with this one π€π
